“Ordinary people with extraordinary vision can redeem the soul of America by getting in what I call good trouble, necessary trouble,” - John Lewis

Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my E-Portfolio! I hope that through my website, I can showcase my gratitude to Auburn University for four of the best years of my life.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Auburn in Political Science with a minor in Community and Civic Engagement in May 2020. This program challenged my thoughts about politics and the interactions that the government has with its citizens via public policy, goods, and services. This challenge inspired me to pursue a Master of Public Administration degree.
The MPA program has strengthened my knowledge and passion for people and public service. I have gained an interest in Community Planning as it relates to housing, public health, and community development and the processes in which these resources are distributed. By this program, I have been equipped with the leadership and analysis skills to become an effective public administrator and one day, an attorney.
Career Goals
Attending graduate school has solidified my desire to pursue a legal career. Upon completion of my master’s degree in May, I will be entering law school in the Fall of 2022, with hopes of concentrating on the fields of Health and Civil Rights law.
Public Service Philosophy
Public Service is the direct link between citizens and their government. As a public servant, I plan to encourage the inclusion of community dialogue with public administrators that fosters transparency and public trust. I also hope to work alongside with and learn from communities to gain the best understanding of how public servants can serve them more efficiently. To ensure that everyone in our nation has access to equitable resources and goods, we as public servants must position ourselves to be collaborative, adaptive, and innovative as we generate and implement laws and best practices that aim to ensure a more sustainable future for all Americans.
